Do you think a person can truly be a fan of or “get” the music of bands or musicians from different eras?

So for example can someone born in the 1990’s truly appreciate say The Beatles? As the culture they exist I is so different to the prevailing culture that shaped the music?

Two guys at the front of the same block who have now decided to start taking their tops off.

Well done mate. Football is a stupid pointless game sometimes, and football supporters can be some of the worst people to gather as crowds known to man, so fair play to you for crossing the divide and showing people that some of us are human and we can do good things. (tu)

My old mans birthday next week, he likes ELO, what cd is the best one to get? Am i best just getting the greatest hits? Just had a quick look and the greatest hits doesn't have mr blue sky on so dunno what to buy!

Stick with him and hope that he's on a very sharp learning curve which should benefit us in future ?

Take away the responsibility and allow him to fully concentrate on what wlll obviously be a glittering career as a leading batsman ?

Really seems to fit the blues... it’s been a breath of fresh air since he came in, got rid of backroom staff and brought in his own, really gets the fans, and all in all just a positive man.
After zola, redknapp and the worzel (although I liked redknapp) I really think we have a guy in charge who can take us upwards.... great to see blues fans and players happy again and 3 points tomorrow, and again on Saturday would be great... hope we stay up because I really like the monk and think next...
