Just saw the ABC Bristol Road mentioned on another topic....I used to use the one at Selly Oak, Bristol Rd junction with Chapel Lane where the 11 bus turned

There was an ABC top end of New Street, across from Bogarts used to be......queued for ages to watch 'The Godfather' there....would have been around 1972

The optimists will look forward to that time and assume that we can be 5 points ahead of Barnsley and both us and them have 2 games to play.
However the pessimists will dread the clock striking 10pm on that evening, predicting that we've lost to Sheffield and Barnsley have picked up 6 points by then and we're looking down the barrel .......

Went to Boldmere St Michaels last week. £5 entry or £3 with current s/t at local clubs. They drew 1-1 with Worcester City. Mat Birley (remember him?) was in Worcester team. Cracking day. Will have to take in some more local sides games next season.
