The Church is not calling for an end to development, as its recent selling of Għargħur land shows, prime minister Robert Abela said on Monday. A national discussion needs to be held on Malta's electoral districts, Prime Minister Robert Abela said on Monday, hinting that these should either be redrawn or reduced in number.   “Societies evolve, so structures and rules need to evolve accordingly to better reflect them,” he told Times of Malta.  Video: Matthew Mirabelli. A 23-year-old motorist from Qormi suffered grievous injuries in a traffic accident in Gudja on Monday. The police said the crash took place at around 9am on Dawret il-Gudja. The man was riding a Hyosung RX125D, while the other vehicle involved in the accident - a Toyota Vitz - was driven by a 24-year-old woman from Żabbar. Investigations are ongoing.

Joe Roscoe has come a long way since his busking days in the UK. He managed to make a name for himself as a solo artist in his early days and went on to become Red Electrick’s frontman. The NGO provides free palliative care, offering tailor-made care plans designed around each patient’s needs and includes continuous medical, psychological, social, and spiritual support delivered through a multi-disciplinary team of professionals. The environment minister has dismissed a suggestion by the Local Councils Association to bin door-to-door waste collection and instead have residents drop off their garbage at designated points for pick-up.
