Planning application for Ħal Far race track submitted, to be completed by 2022

An application for a two-kilometre race track at Ħal Far and the upgrading of existing go-karting and drag-racing circuits have been submitted with the planning authority. The project should be completed by November of next year. The Church is not calling for an end to development, as its recent selling of Għargħur land shows, prime minister Robert Abela said on Monday. Business owners offered financial aid to make workplaces more accessible

Motorist grievously injured in Gudja crash

A 23-year-old motorist from Qormi suffered grievous injuries in a traffic accident in Gudja on Monday. The police said the crash took place at around 9am on Dawret il-Gudja. The man was riding a Hyosung RX125D, while the other vehicle involved in the accident - a Toyota Vitz - was driven by a 24-year-old woman from Żabbar. Investigations are ongoing.
