Those surveyed also said by a 46 per cent to 38 per cent margin that Theresa May should continue as Prime Minister without a general election, according to a ComRes poll for The Sunday Mirror and Independent. Drafting traffic plan for Maltese summer? Impossible, say authorities

Times of Malta

A traffic master plan for summer feasts and other events could not be drawn up, as they were “rarely carved in stone”, the transport authority said. A Transport Malta spokesman said the national transport committee discussed road closures for local religious festivals on a case-by-case basis and a comprehensive schedule of closures and a matching traffic plan was too difficult to plan in advance. Transport, delivery and logistics companies have long been calling for such a plan to be developed, as... Читать дальше...

How to volunteer and where to do it

Times of Malta

Volunteering allows you to meet different people, boost your CV, and update your skills, says Helen Raine. When you’re fresh out of school or university and looking for a job, submitting applications and getting nowhere can be pretty discouraging. There is one sure fire way of getting a foot in the door though: volunteering. Yes, you’ll be working for free (mostly) but along the way, you’ll be picking up essential skills. And when a job comes up, everyone will know your face already – it’s hard to... Читать дальше...
