A judicial official told The Associated Press that Minister Gerald Darmanin met with investigators in Paris but was not taken into custody on Monday. AMARILLO, Texas (AP) — A 39-year-old Texas Panhandle man must serve life in federal prison for what prosecutors say was his involvement in drug trafficking even while in custody. Prosecutors say Moises Jimenez of Amarillo was sentenced Monday. Jimenez last August was convicted of drug possession and distribution charges, plus a weapons count related to trafficking of cocaine and methamphetamine. KINSTON, N.C. (AP) — Authorities have accused two North Carolina teenagers of breaking into a home on Super Bowl Sunday, killing two pets and stealing a car and setting it on fire. Wells Fargo has made missteps in its efforts to make amends to customers who were forced to buy unneeded auto insurance. Bank spokeswoman Catherine Pulley said 38,000 customers received a letter they did not need and that contained no refund. NEW YORK (AP) — A New York judge has awarded $6.7 million to graffiti artists who sued after their work was destroyed on buildings torn down to make room for luxury condos. Federal Judge Frederic Block in Brooklyn noted Monday there was no remorse from the owner of the warehouse buildings. GRANT, Okla. (AP) — Security officers at a southern Oklahoma travel plaza have shot and killed a person who they say was brandishing a weapon. Choctaw Nation Executive Director of Public Safety John Hobbs says the shooting occurred about 10:30 p.m. Sunday. Hobbs says an employee of the Choctaw Travel Plaza contacted security officers about a person causing a disturbance. When officers approached, the person produced a gun and threatened the officer.
