Five years since the morning-after pill became available over the counter, the contraceptive remains inaccessible to many women as not all pharmacies stock it, Rosianne Cutajar told parliament on Monday. COP26 host Britain has set itself a target of carbon neutrality by 2050 - one of the first countries to do so. But experts say it still has a long way to go to reach its ambitious goals. WasteServ on Monday claimed that GreenPak was failing to honour its contractual obligations to deliver recyclable materials that consist of paper, cardboard, plastic and metal. Prime Minister Robert Abela on Monday visited the film set of Prizefighter: The Life of Jem Belcher, featuring Oscar-winning actor Russell Crowe. The production includes the participation of some 200 local film industry workers. Abela said the industry continued to attract investment to Malta, with some €95 million spent on film productions in Malta throughout the pandemic. It may still be a little early to proclaim “The king is dead, long live the king” but after Max Verstappen’s win in Sunday’s Mexico Grand Prix, the coronation of the Dutchman looks more and more likely. For the last four seasons and for six of the last seven years, Lewis Hamilton has ruled the track. A nurse suffered a concussion and blurred vision after being assaulted by a patient in police custody, and who was left unattended at the Mater Dei Hospital emergency department over the weekend, MUMN is claiming. The nurse was one of three assaulted on Saturday, Malta Union of Midwives and Nurses president Paul Pace told Times of Malta. The assault was brought to light by the Maltese Emergency Nurses’ Association (MENA), an educational entity.
