Watch: 1990s VHS Kids Remake Of Steven Spielberg's 'Jurassic Park'

We already know about the two kids that spent seven years making a shot-for-shot remake of “Raiders of the Lost Ark” in the '80s, as immortalized in “Raiders!: The Story of the Greatest Fan Film Ever Made.” But they’re not the only ones to have remade a Steven Spielberg film in their own likeness.

As the run-up to “Jurassic World” proved, a generation of filmgoers fell in love with Spielberg’s “Jurassic Park” as children, and Dangerous Minds has shared more evidence that if you bring two Spielberg fans together with a camera, a crude remake will result sooner rather than later.

In this case, the filming process took place over six months during the summer of 1993, using toys and hand drawn backdrops yielding multiple versions of the film before David Chakris and Michael Raisch pared it down to the version below....
