Teen tries to shoplift using fake baby made out of bra cup

Times of Malta

A teenage thief made a fake baby out of a bra cup and cuddly toy in an attempt to steal from a discount store in the UK. Saffron Curtiss-McGinty planned to hide her loot underneath a child's buggy, but with no baby to justify pushing a pram, she went about making one. The 18-year-old dressed a toy dog in a baby-grow and scratch mitts, and drew facial features on a bra cup to make a face. But staff at the B&M store in Stratford Road, Solihull, became suspicious and stopped Curtiss-McGinty, from Birmingham, on January 27. Читать дальше...

Liverpool freefall continues with shock 2-0 defeat at Hull

Times of Malta

Liverpool's calamitous freefall in 2017 continued with a shocking 2-0 defeat at Hull City which may have put a fatal dent in their Premier League title hopes today. Alfred N'Diaye, Hull's new loan signing from Villarreal, proved Hull's hero, scoring just before halftime thanks to another questionable piece of goalkeeping from Simon Mignolet, who flapped at a cross and allowed the Senegal international to tap in. Liverpool began to completely dominate after the break but Philippe Coutinho was among... Читать дальше...

Chances at both ends were not abundant in the opening exchanges. Once Alan da Silva Souza snapped up the opener on 23 minutes, there no looking back for Balzan. Читать дальше...

Poland positive about Malta's EU presidency aims

Times of Malta

Poland considers the priorities listed by Malta for its EU Council presidency as being “very good” because they tackle issues Warsaw is interested in. Officials at the Ministry of Economic Development said that, like Malta, Poland too thought that the internal market and industry were very important and focusing on them would put industry on the main road of the competitiveness policy in the EU. They complain that industry was forgotten in recent years, with the EU only speaking about services. Malta... Читать дальше...
