Russia Champion of 2018 Computer Programming Competition

The International Student Olympiad in Programming (ICPC) was won for the seventh consecutive time by a team from Russia.
This year the winners were students of the Moscow State University (MSU). The second place was taken by the team of the Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology (MIPT).
Multiple time winner of the competition and the current champion - the team of the St. Petersburg University of Information Technology (ITMO) this time took only ninth place.
ICPC - the largest international team championship in programming has been held in its present form annually since 1977. The first victory was given to students from Russia in 2000, since that time the teams of Russian universities have repeatedly won competitions. Since 2012, only teams from Russia have won the championship.
