Public health vs. international health vs. global health
The main learning outcome of this lecture was to acquaint students with the differences between public health, international health, and global health; through illustrating the scope and the required level of action for the health issues under each of them.
Following on this differentiation, I presented some of the concurrent global health issues and linked global health to the UN Sustainable Developmental Goals.
Finally I shared with the students some photos from my previous international and global health experiences including some guidance from the global health leaders I honored to meet in my career path.
