GLASTONBURY, Conn. (AP) — An Ohio man has died after the car he was driving the wrong way on a Connecticut highway slammed head-on into a tractor trailer truck. State police say 27-year-old Christian Alvarez Villarini, of Cleveland, was pronounced dead at the scene early Monday morning. TUCSON, Ariz. (AP) — A volunteer for a group that tries to prevent immigrants from dying in the Arizona desert is scheduled for a Jan. 14 trial on charges that he illegally harbored people in the United States. SEATTLE (AP) — Seattle authorities are investigating after a pair of fires started during the early morning hours on Christmas Eve. KOMO-TV reports a two-alarm fire in Seattle's Fremont neighborhood was just the beginning for firefighters on Monday.
