Walt Disney Studios made box office history on Monday as its global box office total for 2018 hit $7 billion. A BART train fatally hit a person on the tracks Monday morning between the West Dublin and Castro Valley stations, officials said. Reports of a “major medical emergency” shut down BART train service in both directions around 11:22 a.m. between the West Dublin and Castro Valley stations, according to transit officials. CHARLESTON, W.Va. (AP) — The West Virginia School Building Authority has voted to fund more than $72 million in facilities projects statewide. Monday's vote includes construction and renovation projects for public school systems in 19 counties. PRATTVILLE, Ala. (AP) — A Florida man has been charged in Alabama with traveling to meet a child for an unlawful sex act. The Montgomery Advertiser reports that 31-year-old Robert Henry Ruffner of Orlando was also charged with electronic solicitation of a child for an unlawful sex act. He appeared Monday for a preliminary hearing before a judge. Ruffner was arrested Nov. 8 in Autauga County.
