Running back and Vallejo native C.J. Anderson will not make his Raiders debut today after all. Anderson, the former Broncos and Panthers back who went to Cal, was signed by the Raiders last week as insurance with Doug Martin dealing with a knee injury. Martin had a brace on his left knee Friday but practiced all week and is active for today’s game against the Steelers. Nickel cornerback K’Waun Williams will be inactive for today’s game against the Broncos at Levi’s Stadium with a knee injury, which will cause more shuffling in the 49ers’ banged-up secondary. Without Williams, rookie D.J. Reed will assume his spot instead of playing free safety. Meanwhile, rookie Marcell Harris and Antone Exum will start at safety. Reggie McKenzie will not be returning as Raiders general manager next season, according to a report by CBS Sports on Sunday. The Los Angeles Film Critics Association has named “Roma,” Alfonso Cuaron’s elegant Spanish-language drama drawn from events in his childhood, the best film of 2018. Though there were no wide releases this weekend, the indie box office was very busy, as “Mary Queen of Scots,” “Vox Lux” and “Ben Is Back” made their Los Angeles/New York debuts… and the results are mixed.
