Discovery is splitting up its HGTV and Food Network leadership, naming Courtney White as president of Food Network on Monday. The St. Louis Post-Dispatch reports that the board interviewed the top four candidates for education commissioner on Monday. PORT ANGELES, Wash. (AP) — A magnitude 4.1 earthquake has shaken an area beneath Olympic National Park south of Port Angeles. The U.S. Geological Survey says the earthquake hit just after 3 a.m. Monday. There were no immediate reports of damage. According to the agency's website, people in the region reported feeling weak to light shaking. The quake's epicenter was about 29 miles (47 kilometers) south of Port Angeles.

SANAA, Yemen — Yemen’s Shiite rebels said Monday that they will halt rocket fire into Saudi Arabia for the sake of peace efforts, answering a key Saudi demand in the latest push to stop the civil war in the Arab world’s poorest country. HIGH POINT, N.C. (AP) — Police in North Carolina say a man was shot and wounded at the same home where his wife was killed in a drive-by shooting in 2017. High Point police told news sources that officers responding to a call Sunday found 76-year-old Edward Lindsay with a gunshot wound to his right arm. He was taken to a hospital in Winston-Salem for treatment of an injury not believed to be life-threatening.
