Showtime is launching a companion podcast for its upcoming limited series from Ben Stiller, “Escape at Dannemora,” that will delve into the real-life events that inspired the drama. The limited series, which is directed and executive produced by Stiller, is based on the 2015 prison break from Clinton Correctional Facility. MOUNT PLEASANT, Iowa (AP) — An Iowa man has been convicted of first-degree murder in the death of his infant son who was found in a maggot-infested baby swing last year. The Waterloo-Cedar Falls Courier reports jurors took less than an hour Tuesday to convict 29-year-old Zachary Paul Koehn of first-degree murder and child endangerment causing death. TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (AP) — The Latest on Election Day in Florida (all times local): 4:15 p.m. Election officials say polling places in one north Florida county are having trouble with their electronic poll books. Alachua County Supervisor of Elections spokesman T.J. Pyche says electronic poll books were having intermittent issues on Tuesday, but they weren't going down at an alarming rate. ATLANTA (AP) — Problem signs that arose during weeks of early voting carried into Election Day as some voters across the country faced hours-long lines, malfunctioning voting equipment and unexpectedly closed polling places. INDIANAPOLIS (AP) — The Latest on the midterm election in Indiana (all times local): 4:10 p.m. The direction President Donald Trump is leading the country in was dominant issue on voters' minds as they cast ballots in the Indiana Senate race. The neck-and-neck contest between Republican businessman Mike Braun and Democratic Sen. Joe Donnelly is one of the most closely watched in the country. It will help determine the balance of power in the Senate, where the GOP currently has a slim 51-49 majority.

SAN DIEGO (AP) _ DexCom Inc. (DXCM) on Tuesday reported third-quarter net income of $46.6 million, after reporting a loss in the same period a year earlier. On a per-share basis, the San Diego-based company said it had net income of 52 cents. Earnings, adjusted for non-recurring gains, came to 17 cents per share. The results surpassed Wall Street expectations. The average estimate of 10 analysts surveyed by Zacks Investment Research was for a loss of 12 cents per share. The faces in charge of baseball operations will be entirely new, with Brian Sabean retreating into the background, and there isn’t likely to be much sentiment toward mainstays of the team’s glory years.
