(AP) — Safety concerns with new buses that will be transporting people up and down historic Route 66 in Albuquerque have prompted city officials to put the brakes on the transit project. PHOENIX (AP) — Retirement, insurance and investment firm Voya Financial says it will open a new office in metro Phoenix and will add more than 1,000 new workers. LITTLEFIELD, Ariz. (AP) — The Mohave County Sheriff's Office has identified human remains found north of the Colorado River in northwestern Arizona. They say the remains are those of 63-year-old Susan Marie McFalls from Littlefield. The county Medical Examiner's Office was able to identify the remains using medical records and a medical device the woman had. CORNVILLE, Ariz. (AP) — Yavapai County sheriff's deputies have made arrests after a woman overdosed in her car with her 9-year-old daughter present. Authorities said Thursday that 30-year-old Kaila Van Orden, who was found unconscious in her car last week, now faces charges related to drugs and endangerment. Sheriff's spokesman Dwight D'Evelyn says Van Orden had used a syringe with heroin inside a Cornville home before she lost consciousness. She alerted a couple in the home who called 911. RENO, Nev. (AP) — The realty company for the Burning Man organization has withdrawn its application to relocate 10 historic homes in the Gateway District of the University of Nevada, Reno. SHIRLEY, Mass. (AP) — Massachusetts State Police say a man was arrested after police found dozens of unlicensed firearms stockpiled in his home. Police say they seized approximately 47 illegal firearms, 44 homemade silencers and around 35,000 rounds of ammunition from the 62-year-old Shirley man's home. He was arraigned Thursday in Shirley District Court and was ordered held without bail pending a dangerousness hearing next week.
