ANAHEIM, Calif. (AP) _ Willdan Group Inc. (WLDN) on Thursday reported third-quarter net income of $3.3 million. On a per-share basis, the Anaheim, California-based company said it had profit of 35 cents. Earnings, adjusted for stock option expense and amortization costs, came to 56 cents per share. The energy efficiency and sustainability consultant posted revenue of $71.4 million in the period. CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas (AP) — The Coast Guard says it hoisted two men aboard one of its helicopters after the men's sailing vessel was dismasted in a storm and run aground on Matagorda Island. SAN LUIS OBISPO, Calif. (AP) — Authorities say a former Paso Robles police sergeant won't be charged with sexually assaulting a woman while on duty despite evidence that the two did have sex. San Luis Obispo County District Attorney Dan Dow announced Thursday that there wasn't enough evidence to prosecute Christopher McGuire and that no "reasonable" jury would convict him. SAN JOSE, Calif. (AP) _ Fair Isaac Corp. (FICO) on Thursday reported fiscal fourth-quarter earnings of $50.5 million. The San Jose, California-based company said it had profit of $1.64 per share. Earnings, adjusted for one-time gains and costs, were $1.89 per share. The financial services company posted revenue of $279.8 million in the period. 1 Joint patrols: Turkish and U.S. troops on Thursday began jointly patrolling areas around the northern Syrian town of Manbij, part of a road map for easing tensions between the two NATO allies, Turkey’s defense minister announced. A federal jury in Denver on Wednesday rejected claims involving the odor from a pot farm made in a case that was closely watched by the marijuana industry. Apple said Thursday it had another wildly profitable quarter as consumers proved willing to pay higher prices for their iPhones and other products, and spend more on apps and services. FORT DODGE, Iowa (AP) — A retired priest who lived for months next to a Roman Catholic school in Iowa moved out Thursday, hours after his history of sexually abusing boys became public knowledge following a 32-year cover-up.
