It appears Raiders head coach Jon Gruden was right to express his concern about running back Marshawn Lynch on Tuesday. NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport reported Friday that Lynch will miss at least a month, and possibly more, because of a groin injury confirmed by an MRI this week. Amazon Studios has named James Farrell as head of international originals. In the newly created role, Farrell will lead the international originals teams in Japan, India, Europe, Mexico and Brazil, as well as future locales. He’ll report to Jen Salke. CENTRAL FALLS, R.I. (AP) — Rhode Island Foundation has announced $3.6 million in grants aimed at reducing health disparities in more than a dozen town and cities across the state. Foundation President and CEO Neil Steinberg said Friday the grants will compliment efforts by the state Department of Health and others to reduce rates of illness and chronic disease that are higher in poorer areas of the state.
