GREENWICH, Conn. (AP) — Police have arrested one suspect in connection with a violent weekend home invasion in Connecticut and say more arrests are expected. Greenwich police say they responded to a home in town on Saturday to find a victim who said he was tied up and beaten by several people who forced their way into his home and demanded cash and jewelry. CHEYENNE, Wyo. (AP) — Wyoming education officials and students say increased access to health care for students is needed to keep schools safe. MINNEAPOLIS (AP) — A trailblazer for women's rights in Minneapolis and beyond has died at age 92. Arvonne Fraser's lengthy resume includes a post at the University of Minnesota's Humphrey School of Public Affairs, co-founder of the school's Center on Women, Gender and Public Policy and director of the International Women's Rights Action Watch. VALHALLA, N.Y. (AP) — Gunfire has been reported at a New York City suburban hospital and police are at the scene. Westchester County Police told WCBS Radio that there had been an "active shooter situation" Wednesday but it is now under control. Little information was immediately available from authorities regarding what happened. DAVENPORT, Iowa (AP) — Davenport school district officials will be reviewing new procedures for suspensions, removals and use of rooms for both general-education and special-education students. The Quad-City Times reports that the review on Friday comes after an audit by the Iowa Department of Education. GULFPORT, Miss. (AP) — A Mississippi man has been sentenced to 12 years in prison for helping dispose of the body of a woman who was killed. The Sun Herald reports that 33-year-old Aaron Bobinger of Gulfport was sentenced Monday. District Attorney Joel Smith says Bobinger asked for leniency because he cooperated with prosecutors in the trial of another man charged in the case. SHAWNEE, Kan. (AP) — Authorities are investigating the death of a 57-year-old man in suburban Kansas City as a homicide. The Kansas City Star reports that the man was severely injured early Wednesday during a disturbance in a residential area in Shawnee.
