«SFGate» (sfgate.com)

The world of self-described "incels," where sexual frustrations boil over into talk of violent revenge against women, has become a virtual home for some socially isolated men like the 25-year-old computer science student charged... The Senate Judiciary Committee is expected to vote Thursday on the bill, which would give any special counsel a 10-day window to seek expedited judicial review of a firing. Two Republicans and two Democrats introduced the legislation earlier this month as President Donald Trump publicly criticized Mueller.... Читать дальше...

Grace’s casting was previously announced, but it was not known he’d be playing the prominent white supremacist and former Louisiana state representative in Lee’s telling of a remarkable American story. Footage screened for theater exhibitors was brief but classic Spike Lee — biting social commentary that is all the more shocking for being true.

WASHINGTON (AP) — Attorney General Jeff Sessions is defending President Donald Trump's pardons of former Sheriff Joe Arpaio and former Bush administration official I. Lewis "Scooter" Libby. Both of those pardons were issued by Trump and bypassed the input of the Justice Department's pardon attorney, which historically reviews petitions for clemency. JUNEAU, Alaska (AP) — To most spectators, the term "Olympics" means world-class swimming competitions, downhill skiing or the 100-meter dash. But near the Arctic Circle, a different type of Olympics for young people pays homage to the region's subsistence hunters and the methods they've used for centuries to feed their families and stay alive in harsh conditions.
