Warriors have no plans to add another big man
MILWAUKEE — The Warriors have no plans to bolster their depleted frontcourt by signing another center.
"We're not going to do that," Golden State head coach Steve Kerr said after shoot-around Friday afternoon at Fiserv Forum. "We're not adding anyone right now. We need to be fully healthy before we can really assess anything."
In the wake of Damian Jones' potentially season-ending pectoral injury, the Warriors don't have a prototypical center. Kevon Looney, Jordan Bell and Jonas Jerebko — all of whom are small-ball centers — are shouldering the load until Draymond Green (sprained right toe) and DeMarcus Cousins (torn left Achilles tendon) return.
Green could be back as soon as Friday night's game against the Bucks.
