Jackson police seek driver who hit and killed cyclist
JACKSON, Miss. (AP) — Police in Jackson are looking for a driver who hit a cyclist and left the scene.
Jackson police spokesman Sgt. Roderick Holmes said in an emailed statement Sunday that 58-year-old Erroll Todd Mann was hit while biking shortly before 7:30 p.m. Saturday. Holmes says Mann was pronounced dead at the scene.
It is being considered a hit and run, and the investigation was ongoing.
Investigators haven't been able to identify or find the driver who hit Mann. They're asking anyone with information to contact authorities. Crime Stoppers is offering a reward of up to $2,500 for information leading to an arrest.
