The race for governor in Georgia between Democrat Stacey Abrams and Republican Brian Kemp is too close to call.
With all precincts reporting as of 4:15 a.m. EST on Wednesday, Kemp holds a lead of 92,192 votes out of more than 3.8 million cast — a margin of 2.4 percent.
Under state law in Georgia, the leading candidate must receive more than 50 percent of the vote to avoid a runoff election. Kemp currently has 50.7 percent of the vote.___4:43 a.m.
The race for governor in Connecticut between Democrat Ned Lamont and Republican Bob Stefanowski is too early to call.
