Shaun Livingston, Andre Iguodala ruled out for Warriors’ game vs. Memphis
Point guard Shaun Livingston (right foot soreness) and small forward Andre Iguodala (rest) have been ruled out of the Warriors’ game Monday night against the Grizzlies at Oracle Arena.
It is the fifth straight game Golden State will be without Livingston, who has dealt with soreness in his right foot since the preseason finale Oct. 12 against the Lakers in San Jose. His absence has freed up time for Alfonzo McKinnie and even rookie Jacob Evans.
"He needs to practice before we’ll put him out there," Warriors head coach Steve Kerr said Sunday of Livingston. "We’re hoping by the end of the week, but we’ll take it slow."
Iguodala’s absence Monday is part of Golden State’s plan to give him periodic rest throughout the season.
