Helena man pleads not guilty to killing parents
HELENA, Mont. (AP) — A Helena man has pleaded not guilty to killing his parents last month.
The Independent Record reports 21-year-old Kaleb Taylor appeared in District Court via video Wednesday on two counts of deliberate homicide in the March 18 deaths of David and Charla Taylor. An autopsy found they were beaten and stabbed to death in their home just north of Helena.
Prosecutors say Taylor told investigators he killed his parents, took a shower, burned his bloody clothes and got rid of a murder weapon.
Two co-defendants, 21-year-old Kyle Alexander Hamm and 22-year-old Journey Wienke, earlier pleaded not guilty to deliberate homicide charges.
Taylor's trial is set for October.
