Cosby Accuser Andrea Constand Describes Assault at Retrial, Says She Wants ‘Justice’
Andrea Constand testified Friday at the retrial of comedian Bill Cosby, detailing his alleged assault of her in 2004 and saying that she was she was there at the Pennsylvania court for “justice.”
Former Temple University employee Constand, who accuses Cosby of drugging and molesting her at his home in 2004, told the court that she arrived at the comedian’s home to discuss her career. After arriving, Constand testified, she had a sip of wine and was given three blue pills by Cosby, who told her that they would “help take the edge off.”
Constand said that she “began to see double vision,” and that her legs felt rubbery and she began to slur her words. She told the court that the comedian walked her to another room where there was a sofa.
