US lifts indoor mask mandate for vaccinated people

The US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention on Thursday announced it was lifting mask-wearing requirements for people fully vaccinated against COVID-19. The national championships were stopped earlier this year due to a rise in COVID-19 cases. BOV warning about fraudulent text messages

Bank of Valletta has issued a warning to customers that fraudulent text messages are being sent to customers purporting to be from the bank. In a post on Facebook, the bank said the message states that BOV is changing the way transactions are verified and customers may be asked to confirm their mobile number through a fraudulent website. “This is a scam,” the bank warned. Britain on Thursday announced sanctions on the Kaniyat militia, which is allegedly behind a spate of gruesome murders, kidnapping and torture of civilians in Libya.
