Here are some other things we learned about Grande on the CBS skit: – She had a “Jaws”-themed party for her second birthday, which scared all of the other kids away. – Contrary to some amateur reports, Grande does NOT insist on getting carried everywhere by a security guard. Primed to harsh any buzz you might still be enjoying from the exhilarating international spy high jinks of “Mission Impossible: Fallout,” Peter Berg’s “Mile 22” is an angry, hyperviolent downer of an action flick that is the August blowout-sale of its ilk: loud and desperate. Mixing obnoxious geopolitical cynicism, fashionable fight incoherence and — still? really? — the fading appeal of Mark Wahlberg in grim-hero mode, the movie feels like Berg in a state of retaliatory cinematic aggression after... WASHINGTON (AP) — U.S. housing starts ticked up just 0.9 percent in July, a sign that higher construction costs might be weighing on homebuilders. The Commerce Department says that housing starts last month rose to a seasonally adjusted annual rate of 1.17 million, not nearly enough to reverse the steep 12.9 percent plunge seen in June as rising lumber, land and labor expenses appeared to constrain new construction. Still, housing starts have risen 6.2 percent year-to-date. Solid job growth and a... Читать дальше...
