King was leaving and then his form massively improved, hindsight is great but doesn't prove anything before hand..
Same with Mamo, he was ok but suddenly had a brilliant second half of the year after Powell had already signed Mata'utia.
squad out. Adebiyi, Bassett, Natoli in it. Guess Natoli won't play as it seems the possibles still get incldued.

80 minutes does not mean 80 minutes of free flow attacking rugby, however, because 6 tackles usually
takes 1 minute to 1.2 minutes, so the opposition will have periods of ball control & match control.
Our players have a tendency to lack concentration when the opposition raise their game & thus do not play 80 minutes, against better or tough opposition that is the problem DP is concerned about,
80 minutes play in full concentration will be needed in the semi final & final if we are to win it !!

I don't actually see any young lads ready to step up into front row any time soon.
TNW looks more like a loose than outright prop to me, although could be proven wrong. He'll have to fill out a fair but more at his height.
Leo Aliyu is athletic but again not massive; Oladipupo has great size for his age but has loads of development in him still. Young Stelfox impressed me a couple of weeks ago but again he's years off.
Hudson could be good but looking like he's going to struggle... Читать дальше...

Re the flooding, isn't it normally just the pitch near the weir that gets waterlogged?

It wasn't Big Brian actually, it was somebody else, whose username escapes me. Brian couldn't describe a tackle because he wouldn't get past the way in which he uses many expletives alongside the word 'Pie'.

Love that post! What a shame that the Broncos couldn't hang on to some of their products. Fertile ground for the fame if given the opportunity.

No. Absolutely not what’s needed. Only looked half decent at Catalans but been anonymous ever since. Not what we need at all.

I was gutted when Hall left, he was definitely one to hold on to, but that was a different time and forced by circumstance, it was and felt like a precursor to what has transpired since.
I wouldn't say the writing was on the wall but there was a bit of graffiti appearing.
I'd like to see him back but these days I dunno what he's like, and again circumstance is a dictatorial factor.
Still, Cas will do well to stay up, and if they don't, hopefully not all their playing staff will be trashed for it. Читать дальше...

Pretty sure he represented Ireland against Lebanon in a World Cup match at LSV (though his shirt styled him "Cing" that day). On that evidence it would be a firm NO from Bongser.
