Well I've had 24 hours to think about this and in Beverley this morning I spoke to James Hoggarth who did the interview last night and we both agreed that Adam really did seem on the defensive from the off and that he was pretty withdrawn and reserved compared with his usual bouncy demeanour, Perhaps he was shaken by the threats he had received on line with pictures of his house etc. which of course just isn't on at all, but it certainly wasn't the Adam we have known for so long. Defensively we are stronger with Davies at 6, no doubt. Gaskell does offer more running threat and kick options though. Tough call but good to know we have a capable back up in Davies though.

To be honest Myler isn’t a name I’d had down on any possible candidates however I’m happy to give him a chance and he’s is a huge step up from Clark and he at least has knowledge of the game. I think we also have to take in to account we aren’t going to get a top DOR that’s any good less than halfway through the season. He may also just be a temporary solution?
It is possibly also one of the criteria for the investment which is badly needed so beggars can’t be choosers as we aren’t what you class as an attractive proposition currently. Читать дальше...

I'm not short on theories and opinions regarding RL.

But there is one issue that has bugged me for years and I just can't find a plausible explanation.

Josh Griffin: He's 33 years old, he now has the perfect build for a Rugby player, in fact he's a bit of a monster for his height.

I've followed his career since he was in our Academy right up until now.

It's only been in the last five years IMO that he's reached his full physical potential.

But then when I think on it does make some sense, his girlfriends dad is rich and sounds like he's the out of town investor. Myler is also a successful player who having been at Leeds, Catalan, Wire, England etc will have contacts. I'd also imagine he might get his shirt on and play for the rest of this season at least.
