NYC: Orthodox Jewish school leaders promising improvements

NEW YORK (AP) — New York City education officials say leaders at 15 ultra-Orthodox Jewish schools that were among the subjects of a 2015 complaint have expressed a commitment to expanding students' exposure to secular education. Arizona's unemployment rate dips to 4.6 percent in July

PHOENIX (AP) — Arizona's unemployment rate has dipped slightly. The Arizona Office of Economic Opportunity reported Thursday that the state's seasonally adjusted unemployment rate decreased to 4.6 percent in July from 4.7 percent in June. The office says the state's economy lost 17,500 nonfarm jobs in July, a decrease smaller than the post-recession average of 21,200 jobs lost in July. About three-quarters of the jobs lost in July were in the government sector.

Bankruptcy Court Approves Relativity Sale to UltraV Group

Prosecutors: Trucker found with $5.1 million in marijuana

Study: Harvey pollution levels likely higher than reported

Police: Boy repeatedly stabs girl during school assembly
