Slight drop in gas prices in Rhode Island
PROVIDENCE, R.I. (AP) — Gasoline prices are down slightly in Rhode Island but remain well above the levels of a year ago.
AAA Northeast says its latest weekly survey finds self-serve regular selling for an average of $2.81 per gallon in the state, down 1 cent from the previous week and even with the current national average.
The average price one year ago at this time was $2.58 per gallon.
