South Korean dance group performs at arts festival
South Korea’s Ambiguous Dance Company will make its Bay Area debut on Thursday, May 31, at the S.F. International Arts Festival, true to the festival’s ethos of cultural exchange through performance.
Created by artistic director and contemporary choreographer Kim Bo-ram, “Rhythm of Human” tells an abstract story about a Korean man searching for his own rhythm amid society’s cacophony.
“Every moving and breathing creature takes form as a rhythm, a movement, and an expression of dance,” he said in a statement. “As a message of vitality, this performance speaks to the essential nature of dance and its ubiquitous presence in our lives.
