Capsule movie reviews for May 13
Avengers: Infinity War Too many characters, too involved a plot, too much going on with little for the Avengers to show their personalities, this latest installment in the series has its moments, but it’s overstuffed and doesn’t even come to a definite end. It’s just the set-up for another equally bloated sequel. Rated PG-13. 149 minutes.—M.LaSalle
Bad Samaritan David Tennant (”Doctor Who”) is a first-rate psycho who matches wits with a would-be thief (Robert Sheehan) who discovers a kidnapped woman hidden in Tennant’s house. Slick thriller, well packaged by director Dean Devlin, that was filmed in Portland. Rated R.
