Harvey Weinstein’s Estranged Wife Georgina Chapman on Life After Scandal: ‘Humiliated and So Broken’
Georgina Chapman, Harvey Weinstein’s soon-to-be ex-wife, was “so humiliated and so broken” when she learned of mounting accusations of sexual misconduct against the movie mogul. It got so bad, Chapman recalled in an interview with Vogue, that she couldn’t go out in public and rapidly dropped weight.
“I was so humiliated and so broken . . . that . . . I, I, I . . . didn’t think it was respectful to go out,” said the designer. “I thought, ‘Who am I to be parading around with all of this going on?’ It’s still so very, very raw. I was walking up the stairs the other day and I stopped; it was like all the air had been punched out of my lungs.
