Agree with some of the original post. We do need to be looking at signing some of our good young players (Atkin,Lawler,Mulhern,Oakes etc), to long term contracts. And look to build around them.

But we are were we were pretty much always going to be. This season was never really about challenging for the top 8'spot. But about making sure we get through the middle 8's unscathed and build to having a better squad next year. We always new that this squad was okay but not good enough to challenge for the top 8's. I remember Rads saying he had chatted with Leeds wrt the cap and they have a very structured system of pay bands dependant on international caps, experience etc. so all the players know that if they want to get to the next level they have to improve their game. I just guess that at Leeds the players think they are getting a fair slice of the pie based on the wage structure as they have a fair idea what the more senior players are on. I reckon Taylor and Mini will play, Carlos, Shaul and Houghton will play if fit, and the rest of the pack will be rotated depending on who needs resting the most.

So Friday see us go to the form team in SL.
They look the team to beat this year and it'll be a tough ask however the weekend after Easter can throw up some interesting results with fatigue and squad rotation.

We'll have a better idea once the squads are announced but I think we have a shot, provided we don't gift them points and field position a la Monday!

I wouldn't be surprised to see a fair amount of squad rotation with Taylor and Mini both getting a break after playing big minutes over Easter. Читать дальше...

We have won 4/5 without him and are scoring points. (122 last 5 games ~ 24 points per game)
