Poor Jean.....Catalans and Toulouse being beaten...in fact, being well beaten by heartland teams on the same weekend. No doubt that these two will be meeting in August/September......if it doesn't fill the stadium it's played in it will expose the "French expansion" for the farce that it is......even more so if they meet twice with the second game being for a place at the top table.
Catalans just don't seem interested as a "team".......their owner showed more backbone last week with his rant about bent referees. Читать дальше...

Thoughts on today's game?
Personally thought we weren't great and need to be much better against Doncaster in 2 weeks. We don't look great near the opposition line and too many one man carries. I’d like to think it would be sin bin sufficient, I don’t think there was much in it to be fair. Definitely a penalty and a sin bin but it doesn’t warrant a ban surely.

Wonder - 5 out of 5. I’m a sucker for a predictable uplifting film about triumph over adversity! Mrs James and the 3 little James all cried. It does things differently in that it doesn’t just focus on the boy, but also how it effects his friends and family. If you like this kind of film you will love it

Another good result. Points difference could be vital come the end of the season. The lads are doing what is needed after the London. Harder games to come for sure but we will be finer tuned and more confident by then.

The hole were in is much bigger than I initially thought. The only thing worth keeping us in SL is to retain our youngsters in my eyes. If it wasn't for them I genuinely wouldn't care if we went down this time round.

So why not make it be played after our Dewsbury game at Trailfinders. The RFL could have got behind it and promoted it hard. Done something positive for the game in London for a change.

Everything that is wrong with Rugby League was on show this afternoon.

A penalty fest by an erratic referee seemingly given no assistance by his touch judges, a poor Salford team who in general came to slow the game down and spoil and an even worse Huddersfield team who weren’t professional enough to keep their collective heads and concentrate on themselves not the other things around them that they couldn’t control.
