Each year, more than 350 websites posing as legitimate online universities sell 200,000 degrees around the US and other countries. Though they may seem real, the sites offer fake diplomas, accredited by bogus institutions, for several hundred to several thousand dollars.

Peter Stewart

There are roughly 1,500 skyscrapers dotting the Hong Kong skyline, but few have been seen quite like this.

In 2013, Australian-born photographer Peter Stewart set out to capture the city's residential high-rises from the ground looking up. His signature point-of-view shows the beauty and interesting geometric patterns of buildings that wouldn't otherwise receive a second glance.

President Donald Trump tweeted on Sunday that the US is considering cutting off trade with any country that maintains economic ties with North Korea.

The remark was largely interpreted as a semi-veiled threat against North Korea's main trading partner, China.

A leaked passage from Hillary Clinton's forthcoming memoir includes a colorful complaint about debating Bernie Sanders, which is great because what 2017 needs is more relitigation of the 2016 presidential primaries.

Robert Shiller, the Nobel-prize winning author that predicted the two biggest speculative markets in recent history, is repeating that bitcoin is in a bubble. 

The cryptocurrency is "the best example right now," Shiller told Quartz's John Detrixhe in an interview published Tuesday. Back in 2014 at Davos, he called the cryptocurrency "an amazing example of a bubble," adding that there was "no question about it."
