Rallies and protest events are a part of political life in the Bay Area.
Marin County Supervisor Kate Sears will discuss the recent findings of the BayWAVE Project, a study on sea levels and rising tides from Sausalito to Novato.
The free event begins at 7 p.m. at Driver’s Market, 200 Caledonia St., Sausalito.
Comedy night: “Comedy Night for Immigrant Rights” will feature Bay Area comedians Irene Tu, Johan Miranda and Zahra Noorbaksh.
The event begins at 5:30 p.m. at BATS Improv Theatre in Building B at Fort Mason, San Francisco.
Memorial: A day of remembrance for workers who have been killed and injured on the job.
Panel discussion on Race, Power and Politics:
Effects on Workers of Color, with speakers from state and federal agencies, labor organizations and community groups.

Immigration event: “Remembering the 135th Anniversary of the Chinese Exclusion Act” and standing in opposition to President Trump’s proposed travel ban.

Health care film: “Healthcare for Everybody” will be screened from 7 to 9 p.m. at the Contra Costa Central Labor Council, 1333 Pine St., Suite E in Martinez.
