H&R Block shares rise on higher-than-average DIY online filings
H&R Block Inc. shares rose in the extended session Wednesday as it reported a better-than-average rise in online-filed tax returns, erasing regular-session losses following the release of an outline of President Donald Trump's tax plan. H&R shares advanced 2.9% to $24.57 after hours, following a 1.4% decline during the regular session.
