Armen Rustamyan: Levon Ter-Petrosyan`s position on Karabakh issue is  pernicious 

ArmInfo. The position of the first president and leader of the "Congress-PPA" bloc of Levon Ter-Petrosyan on the Karabakh issue is pernicious. On March 31, at a  press conference in Yerevan, the candidate for deputy from ARF  Dashnaktsutyun Armen Rustamyan stated. He believes that speaking of  territorial concessions, Ter-Petrosyan voiced those theses that are  voiced by the Azerbaijani agitprop.

At the same time, in his opinion, the Armenian society is very  tolerant towards the pro-Azerbaijani propaganda of the first  president, while in Azerbaijan for such representatives of the  political force that is for the independence of the NKR would have  long been in prison. "But the content of the proposals is fatal,  since Azerbaijan wants to destroy Armenia, and does not intend to  make any concessions. The highest concession on the part of  Azerbaijan is the autonomy of Karabakh within Azerbaijan, which we  disagree," the Dashnaktsakan noted.

Rustamyan believes that Ter-Petrosyan is not interested in the  opinion of the Karabakh people, who expressed it through a  referendum. "Levon Ter-Petrosyan made it his goal to impose on us a  completely different concept, which does not correlate with the ideas  of the people of Karabakh," the Dashnaktsakan stressed. He also does  not believe the first president's statements that the proposals he  voiced are an object of negotiations, in which Armenian President  Serzh Sargsyan participates. 

Rustamyan noted that if Azerbaijan is not going to make concessions,  then there can not be concessions from the Armenian side either. At  the same time, Rustamyan added that if Azerbaijan agrees to recognize  Karabakh, and the process will promote, in discussing territorial  issues Nagorno-Karabakh, along with Azerbaijan, has the right to  raise the issue of those territories of the former Nagorno-Karabakh  autonomous region that remained under the control of Azerbaijan after  the war.
