Tom Bergeron out at ‘Dancing With the Stars’
‘What am I supposed to do with all these glitter masks?,’ the host quips as he and Erin Andrews are shown the door.
Tom Bergeron, host of “Dancing With the Stars” since its premiere in 2005, will not be part of the show when it begins its 29th season.
Co-host Erin Andrews is out as well.
Bergeron revealed the news on Twitter, saying Monday evening that he was “just informed” of his dismissal.
Just informed @DancingABC will be continuing without me. It's been an incredible 15 year run and the most unexpected gift of my career. I'm grateful for that and for the lifelong friendships made. That said, now what am I supposed to do with all of these glitter masks?

A statement from BBC Studios, which produces the show, and ABC expressed gratitude to both hosts “as we embark on a new creative direction.”
