Businesses burglarized in Austin, Garfield Park: police
In each incident, someone broke into the building through the roof, then stole property from inside, Chicago police said.
Three businesses were burglarized recently in Austin and Garfield Park on the West Side.
In each incident, someone broke into the building through the roof, then stole property from inside, Chicago police said.
The burglaries happened:
- Between 3 a.m. and 10:30 a.m. July 5 in the 5100 block of West Madison Street;
- About 3:40 a.m. July 6 in the 3400 block of West Madison Street; and
- Between 4:45 a.m. and 5:55 a.m. July 6 in the 4800 block of West Fulton Street.
The suspect was described as a male standing between 6-foot-1 and 6-foot-3 and weighing between 220 and 250 pounds, police said.
