2 men shot, one fatally, in Little Village: police
Both men were struck multiple times, and one of them died at Mount Sinai Hospital, police said.
A man was killed and another wounded in a shooting Tuesday in Little Village on the Southwest Side, police said.
The 26-year-old and 54-year-old were on the sidewalk about 3:07 p.m. in the 4000 block of West 26th Street when someone approached them and fired shots, Chicago police said.
The younger man was struck multiple times and was pronounced dead at Mount Sinai Hospital, police said. The Cook County medical examiner’s office hasn’t released details about his death.
The 54-year-old was taken to the same hospital in fair condition with multiple gunshot wounds, police said.
No one is in custody as Area Four detectives investigate.
