SAN ANTONIO (AP) — The body of an 80-year-old woman has been found inside a San Antonio-area home after a standoff between deputies and a man she lived with ended after more than 24 hours. OAKLAND, Calif. (AP) — Two members of a West Oakland gang who opened fire on people making a music video and left a child dead have been sentenced to 43 years each in prison. Federal authorities say Dionte Houff and Houston Nathaniel III were sentenced Tuesday after pleading guilty last year to racketeering conspiracy, attempted murder and other crimes. JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. (AP) — The Missouri Senate passed a bill that would make it easier to terminate a father's parental rights if the child was the result of rape. The proposal, adopted Wednesday 31-1, would allow judges to terminate a father's parental rights if there was "clear, cogent, and convincing evidence" that he raped the mother, resulting in her pregnancy. Univision CEO Randy Falco plans to exit the company, according to a statement from chairman Haim Saban. The announcement comes a day after the Wall Street Journal first reported on Tuesday that the Univision board had been considering replacing Falco, and just months after the executive signed a two-year extension to his contract in November. MORENO VALLEY, Calif. (AP) — Authorities have arrested a man they say opened fire on passing cars in the middle of a busy Southern California street. Police say the man stood in the street and fired several rounds Tuesday on Allessandro Boulevard in Moreno Valley, east of Los Angeles. Nobody was hurt but a car carrying a family of five had its rear window shattered. Thirty-three-year-old Pierre Drew was arrested at the scene. It isn't immediately clear whether he has an attorney.
