SALEM, Ore. (AP) — An effort to insert an amendment in Oregon's Constitution making health care a right died amid concerns by lawmakers that it would expose the state to lawsuits. Such an amendment would have been unprecedented among U.S. states, according to the National Conference of State Legislatures. CARLSBAD, Calif. (AP) _ SeaSpine Holdings Corp. (SPNE) on Wednesday reported a loss of $7.5 million in its fourth quarter. On a per-share basis, the Carlsbad, California-based company said it had a loss of 56 cents. The medical technology company posted revenue of $34 million in the period. For the year, the company reported that its loss narrowed to $32.1 million, or $2.58 per share. Revenue was reported as $131.8 million. WASHINGTON (AP) — President Donald Trump threatened Wednesday to prevent construction of a border wall with Mexico in California that the state sued to stop. In a puzzling early-morning tweet, Trump said he "decided that sections of the Wall that California wants built NOW will not be built until the whole Wall is approved." NEW YORK (AP) — Paramount Network says it will delay airing a television reboot of "Heathers" following the Florida high school shooting that left 17 dead. WAMEGO, Kan. (AP) — Authorities have identified a 25-year-old man who was killed during gun battle with law enforcement officers in Wamego. The Kansas Bureau of Investigation says Ethan Straub, of Wamego, died in the shooting Monday evening during a confrontation with several law agencies.
