A number of conservatives have abruptly found themselves caught between a high-profile ally and a president who prizes loyalty above all else. The awkward sidestepping illustrates the role loyalty... Sad sacks: 49ers’ pass rush a top offseason priority

«SFGate» (sfgate.com)

The 49ers have finally found their quarterback. A good next step: Find someone to harass their opponents’ quarterbacks. In 2017, the 49ers traded for Jimmy Garoppolo, but failed to sack another glaring problem: a lack of sacks. The 49ers ranked 26th in the NFL in that category with 30, and linebacker Elvis Dumervil (6.5) was their only player with more than 3 sacks. Sound familiar? It should. Since 2012, when Aldon Smith had a franchise-record 19.5 sacks... Читать дальше...
