SALT LAKE CITY (AP) — A Utah police department is warning people to keep an eye out for unmanned drones flying outside their bathroom windows. Martinez says they found a memory card in the drone that has a picture of the man and pictures and video of people in their bathrooms.

ATLANTA (AP) — Georgia's parole board has declined to spare the life of a death row inmate scheduled for execution this week. The parole board is the only authority in Georgia with power to commute a death sentence.

ANCHORAGE, Alaska (AP) — A missing Palmer teenager was pistol-whipped by an acquaintance, driven to a remote location and shot to death, according to an Alaska State Trooper investigating the case. Erick Almandinger, 16, is charged as an adult with first-degree murder and kidnapping in the death of David Grunwald, 16, whose body was found Friday by troopers acting on a tip by another teen. NEW YORK (AP) — The Bronx district attorney plans to ask a judge to impanel a special grand jury to investigate the fatal police shooting of 66-year-old Deborah Danner. The mentally ill woman was shot at her Bronx apartment in October after she threatened a police sergeant with a bat.

Evidence mounted Monday that an array of Oakland and Alameda County agencies had looked into complaints of conditions and confrontations at the converted warehouse where at least 36 people died in a fire at an electronic music show, but none of the contacts resulted in a shutdown order for a building that allegedly had been illegally converted to live-work space.
