Library backs off refusal to carry Woodward book on Trump
BERKELEY SPRINGS, W.Va. (AP) — Bob Woodward's book about the Trump White House will be on the shelf of a West Virginia library after all.
The Charleston Gazette-Mail reports the Morgan County Public Library in Berkeley Springs will carry Woodward's book, "Fear."
The book is Woodward's account of a dysfunctional Trump White House.
Library trustees president Connie Perry says the library board did not know the library director had refused to accept a donated copy until the issue was raised in media reports. Perry says two copies of the book have been accepted at the library.
She says the library's initial decision not to carry "Fear" became a big issue in the town of about 600 people. She says more people now want to read it.
