Hudson's Juniper Farms ice cream trucks inspire devotion
HUDSON, Mass. (AP) — Before she could even drive, Cassia Landry worked inside a Juniper Farms Ice Cream Co. truck.
The 16-year-old met the truck at a local baseball field and was picked up at the end of her shift.
"I've had a million different jobs with customer service, retail, serving, and with this job everybody is happy to see you," she said.
Who wouldn't? It's the ice cream truck.
For more than 65 years, Juniper Farms trucks have circled neighborhoods and parked at businesses, athletic contests and events throughout MetroWest. With its nearly 20-truck fleet, the company has routes in Framingham, Milford and Worcester, to name a few of the more than two dozen towns and cities it serves.
